I'm a Horse

To starting, I don’t believe in horoscopes. I don’t understand how the day in I was born can change my personality, relationship and my life. I always thinking that people who read horoscopes everyday is insecure, they have to read a newspaper to know what prepare the life in one day. Apart from that, in Chile the horoscopes are written for people who don’t know anything about stars and astrology, they have only creativity.

I was born in 1990, and then in the Chinese horoscope I am a horse. In chinesezodiac.com say the Horse symbolizes such character traits as strength, energy, and an outgoing nature. I think that is related with my personality. Apart from, says the horses are extremely animated, Horses thrive when they’re the center of attention. Always in search of a good time, Horses keep the crowds happy with their humor and their wit. I considered that is much related with me. I’m always the center of attention in my group of friends, I’m a happy person, and then always are counting a lot of jokes.

I considered the Horses are animals very strong and intelligent, like me. Also, the page says the horse is honest, friendly and open-minded. I define me like a sporty person, I don’t smoke and I like to do exercise, and eat a lot, like horses. Horses are very healthy, most likely because they maintain a positive outlook on life and because they’re athletic.   

Despite the fact that I don’t believe much in the horoscopes, the description of the horse personality is very similar to me.

My Favourite Beach

I was born in Santiago, but I grown with my grandmother in Cauquenes, VI region of Maule. Cauquenes don’t have a beach, but some 45 minutes to the east is Pelluhue. The best of this beach is that have a moth of the Mariscadero River. The river when arrived into the beach produces a little lagoon.

Pelluhue is a very beautiful place, is a mixture between field and bech, and have kilometers of this. Another thing to attractive me for Pelluhue is that is a very quiet and pacific village, few peoples live here.

When I was a child, we go in family to this beach, and when come to live in Santiago, I went every summer.

The tranquility of this lagoon was the better place to learn to swim. Is practically impossible learn to swim in the ocean, overcoat the wind in the region is very strong, and the waves too. But, when I grown up, I started to swim in the sea with my experience in the river. Really, is not difficult, you have to respect the ocean, not have scare.

Unfortunately, this beach was destroying for the earthquake and the seaquake of the 27 February of last year. The tsunami destroy the recently inaugurate track in the coast, and a group of houses near to the sea.

Another negative point from the seaquake 27F, was that sea have a lot of rubble, is impossible to swim in there. Although each day to be less.

     

An outdoor activity I enjoy doing

I enjoy doing a lot of activities. The most important are the activities in the nature, like mountain climbing, bicycle, and long walk in the hills.

But, undoubtedly, the activity that more enjoy is play baby football.  Baby football is a kind of football that you play in a little concrete field. The teams have 4 players and 1 goalkeeper.

Baby football is more dynamic than football, because the spaces are smaller. That makes it more fun and intense.

Since I was child, I like play and watch football, is a sport to have fun.  When I was 12 years old, I started to play baby football particularly in the breaks at school.  When I was 15 years old I started to play tournaments in the school, and 1 year later, I was part of the selection of my school. Whit this team play a lot of match with other schools.

Then represent the school in various inter-school tournaments in wich didn't have much success, but it was a very nice experience.

Today, whenever I can play baby football. Is not only a sport, also helps de-stress, release tension and have fun.

One to one with Leonel Sánchez

I like a one to one with Leonel Sánchez, He played at left midfield for over 20 years between 1953 and 1973. He was an excellent football player of the Chilean national team and of my favorite team: Universidad de Chile. Leonel was an important player in the “ballet azul”, team who won 6  for the 13 national competitions: the years 1959, 1962, 1964, 1965, 1967 y 1969. Apart from that, he was a fundamental pillar in the national selection team who wins the 3th place in the world cup of football of Chile in 1962, getting a award who anything have get in the story of this country: the top scorer in a world cup, with 4 goals. 

Also, Leonel Sánchez is an idol of Universidad de Chile because he was formed like player in this institution, since he has 11 years old. His love for the team was so big that he rejects a multiples European team for play in the team who saw born.

I ask there question like:

-          Are you satisfied with all the national competitions won in Chile?

-          Are you happy with the 3th place in the world cup of 1962?

-          Do you liked to play in Europe?

The snuff law

 To start, my opinion on the snuff is that this is very harmful, either for smokers or nonsmokers. The snuff is a vice, and therefore any way to eradicate as much as possible of  our society is welcome.

Generally i do not usually go to nightclubs or pubs, but when i go, is very unpleasant when I come home smelling like smoke, not having smoked anything. The smell permeates your clothes and hair and does not leave a good time.

In addition, Chile is the Latin American countries with higher rates of children smoking and all the ages. 10% of children 8 years old had smoked, 37% of all students smoked and 42% of the total population are smokers.

the new law, find that all these situations and figures can lessens. The law, announced by the government of Chile last week toughens anti-smoking rule. In the words of the interior minister, Rodrigo Hinzpeter, this law tells to smokers that are out of time to smoke wherever they want, whatever you want, whenever they want.

On hearing this statement, through press and radio, I'm glad. It is very unpleasant when in the univerisdad all your group smoke and smoke, or go to the stadium and feel the smell the whole game. Personally, I feel that there would be a big step.

I just hope that this law is enforced, and not to generate debate and ignore issues of the contingency that the current government is to be, as Hidroaysén.

Student Mobilizations

Hi everybody! Today I’m going to talk to you about something very contingent. The last student mobilizations were yesterday! But I’m sure this wasn’t really the last mobilizations, I know that the students are planning move again for May 21, for the president’s speech in the Congress in Valparaíso. All this situation is because the education in Chile is very bad distributed. Good free schools are sought, so just a much reduced group of people could be in it, and other schools, with good educations are to expensive, so only people with good recourses can access to it.  

I’m agree with the mobilizations, but it always has people who don’t know for what we are demanding, and it’s bad. Besides sometimes the police abuse of their power and hit innocent people, just for saying what they feel or think.

I have never participle in a student mobilization, but I lived the penguin’s revolution when I was in the school, I don’t know if we really achieve a change it the national education, but anyway was important participate.

Yesterday I couldn’t go and participate in the mobilization, because I had to take my girlfriend to the doctor, but I am going to participate today, in the NO A HIDROAYSEN’s mobilizations, other another topic very important for the country.

I’m a movies lover, and being a student and don’t work, is impossible for me go to the cinema with my girlfriend often. The last weekend I invite her to the cinema, and watch a movie cost me approximated $7500.

In conclusion, go to the cinema us to expensive. That is why pages like this are very useful for people who don’t have money. So you can have access to the art of cinema from the comfort of your home and free.

Really, I prefer go to the cinema or watch movies in my TV in high definition, but I use cuevana.tv when I don’t have money or when I want to watch a especial movie.
